Lost Wonder of the World
He misses the mist
misses hidden vistas,
History’s mysteries hidden from eye.
He’s lost the frost
lost the crisscrossed windows
lacing the casing of earth and sky.
It’s all too clear
too severe for the viewing,
the rue-ing of ruin, the wit without why.
